Because I was taking too many pictures while on vacation. Apple decided instead of stopping the back up it would just delete all my photos. This included the picutres of my recently deceased parents. I can't get away from Apple fast enough. Customer support says I am not the first, so sorry. No there are not any older backups where your photos would be. Apple just doesn't care about anything except getting an extra dollar off of you after you purchase their extremly expensive phone.

As I post this I have been on hold for 45 minutes on a simple problem that should be able to be solved by Apple. (flickering of video unit) The frustration level is very high, as a developer and a loyal customer, I am wondering if Apple still monitors the service level that their representatives are giving. I post this here to see if other developers and loyal customers are experiencing this same type of problem, it makes me to want to leave apple for good.

Tip for consumers:
Very disappointed in their service level, ready to leave them for good.

I purchased a MacBook Pro through Apple's Back to School Deal, which involves a complex process of a $150 discount, a $150 gift card sent via email, and a $150 charge. This convoluted approach led to confusion, especially when I canceled my order, resulting in an unwanted $150 charge on my account alongside the gift card. I attempted to rectify the issue by contacting support multiple times, but the unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful support team exacerbated my frustration, leaving the matter unresolved. Just because ONE payment declined, I can't use my card anymore. It's really annoying, it's hard to deal with, and I can't update any of my apps due to it. I don't understand why my billing information has anything to do with updating apps, but it's generally stupid and i' so confused on why it's like this, there is no significance to the reason.

Why does everything need Apple ID? It just can't work with android. Like I can't even save game progress because of some dumb I cloud save thing. Also the prices are so high and they also slow down the old products to make you buy their new ones and they make it hard for you to change to android because all your pictures and stuff are on your Apple. Overall I would rate this a -1 star. Absolutely terrible.

I sent $3,991.84 check to bank of America to Appler inc and they cant seem to tell me if they got it for 2 pro max 15 phones, i have talked to 31 customer service people for 20 hrs now and 2 out of 31 did anything at all, Annie a supervisor said she could a nd will not help and will not call me back(12-28) one rep said after 1 hour she could not get help from her on company and another had me on phone foe 1.5 hrs and at 4 pm the phone went to a message that for me to contact my bank card and went off?now get this im trying to spend almost 4 thousand dollars and nothing

Apple sells overpriced apps that become faulty and disappear from their store. They then replace those old unusable apps by different ones with a very similar name, to push customers towards buying the same service multiple times. They play real dirty! Worth starting to look into Samsung or Google straight-away. I bought a super expensive German dictionary for £26.99. All of a sudden it simply stopped to work, vanished from the app store, so it can't be used, downloaded or updated anymore. Apple refused me any refund or compensation. Oh look, what a coincidence: there is actually now a different app dictionary on the Apple Store with the same logo, nearly the same name, with the exact same functions for only £17.99! So, surprise, surprise, I have no other choice but to buy it, uh? And in a few years, when this new app will stop to work to be replaced by another fairly similar one, I'll need to buy it again. And again. And again. A blatant scam method to charge customers £65, £80, £100 and so on, if they need to keep using the same service and fuctions over the years. Simply revolting!

Apple is literally trying to kill me with their "new" oxygen app. 2 weeks all worked fine no big issues. On the health app. Got out of hospital today. Quite sick. Oh we need to access your photos to help u now. Oh and u have to pay if you want to know if you're dying. Want your friends and family to know what's happening oh we can't really help with that. Have u got the right code?!? Do you mind sharing all your photos. With everyone. Last two apple "upgrade" complete nightmare. Last iPhone product that will be purchased after 15 years. Of sticking with them through some horrendous updates. Great work "upgrade team" nice work
Apple. Lost a 15 year customer tonight. Spent thousands with these mk ultra losers. Yes my review is helpful. Please for the love of god. Take a Christmas break (sorry you guys probably hate Christmas it's racist bro) regroup. Try making lives easier healther not harder more stressful in 2024 Fingers crossed don't die tonight. Will have my partner update for you all if I die. That updates going to be a super helpful update for everyone. (Please pray for me peeps). What a nightmare apple has become. My partner and I ordered two £1,200 phones yesterday from Apple, we were both promised a delivery date of today, my partners phone is due today following several confirmation emails, I hadn't received any notifications so knew something was wrong, only after chasing Apple did I find out the phone wasn't going to arrive today, I could have quite easily spent all day waiting for a delivery that they knew was never going to get here, maybe if the CEO spent more time concentrating on his companies failing customer services rather than buying super yachts he may have a better business. Forget the business aspect, its just a horrible way to treat other people

The workers in the store in colonie are PHENOMENAL but when you actually have to send your phone out it ends in the result with terrible service. I received my phone back after having to send it out to be repaired and upon looking in my photos the workers were playing around with my camera. Then as i was looking at my phone, i went to go take out the sim card tray to reenter my sim to find out they never put my tray back into my phone before sending it out. They overnight-ed my phone as "priority: so when i spoke to a customer service supervisor she told me she doesn't have the ability to do such thing with the tray! I've waited 5 days for my phone to be fixed and sent back and now i have to wait another 2 days before i can even use it because their employees are incompetent workers! NEVER AGAIN, ill pay $100.00 plus for my phone to be fixed at a phone stand before i send it back out to apple.

I recently purchased the 32" monitor after the original order 27" monitor failed. I ordered online and the girl asked me what kind of stand for 32" monitor, I said basic. She, like me, thought that a $5000 monitor would come with a stand like all of my past Macs; to date that would be 5 computers. I suffered a mild heart attack and had to wait to unpack my new monitor, to my surprise it didn't come with a stand of any-kind. I was told I had to buy a stand for $1000 bucks, you went too far...I'm returning the 32" monitor and getting the 27". I promise you I will never buy any apple product again...thank goodness their are other companies nipping at your heels. I need at least 2 more computers and will buy from anybody but you...the Greed...absolute GREED treating customers like this!

I've been doing research and their are other companies nipping at Apple's heels...they think no one can challenge them...someone will surpass them eventually.

I ordered my phone more than a month ago (oct 24)and the phone was at my nearest post office but they never deliver. They return the phone and now they are saying that we don't know what happened. I called them many times also I chat with them 4 times and they never solved my problem. Manager supposed to call but I never received the call.
I am working with my phone and since my previous one is broken I need to purchase extra temporary phone. I am Apple customer for 9 years and they did not take care of my problem. This is unacceptable

A lot of people are getting No to warranty issues related to corrosion damage. It must be happening when it gets made in humid climates, how do you explain so many angry customers saying they didn't spill anything on the products that are almost new? If not days old?

My iPhone caught on fire in my pocket. I spoke to apple sent pictures and the phone was diagnosed with a component failure but because I didn't want my phone to catch fire in my hand and I tossed it, apple is trying to say they can not replace it. The phone literally was going to blow up in my hand. It was diagnosed with a component failure. Don't not buy apple products they do not stand behind their products. Horrible company

If they diagnosed the phone as a component failure how is that our fault and why would that not be covered.

King of tablet!
(Bought 11 inch m1 ipad pro base variant. Reviewing after using 3 weeks)

Pros-
1. Aluminium build, narrow bezel, premium design.
2. Quad speaker- sounds great.
3. Unlike mini LED in 12.9 inch ipad pro- display pretty decent with liquid retina lcd 600 nits brightness supports HDR content.
4. Single port- now supports thunderbolt, fast charging. With good quality usb type c hub you can do multitasking. Mirror screen to external display with type c to hdmi cable.
5. New apple M1 chip with 8 gb ram gives high performance with great power efficiency. Battery last 1 days with moderate to heavy usage.
6. Front facing camera now support wide view with center stage feature.
7.11 inch is a sweet spot because of its portability, Reading ebooks. While 12.9 inch is less portable but gives pleasant experience with content viewing.

Cons
1. Although Ipad has very strong hardware but its crippled by limited software functionality of ipados. Recent lauching of ipados15 in Apple WWDC didn't add most awaited feature like pro apps, external monitor support, mac like filesystem etc. Ipados has long way to go hence can't be a laptop replacement yet.
2. Accessories (not included) like Apple pencil, magic keyboard are very expensive. But thank god apple has included charger and type c cable- thats very generous
3. Not IP rated, no wireless charging, no calling feature in 5g variant (even after paying 15k extra)!
4. Fragile! Can't use without protective case.
5. Buying just ipad is not enough- you have to buy accessories like apple pencil, magic keyboard, screen protector, well padded bag, usb c hub- which altogether cost nearly close to new m1 macbook pro!
So think wisely before buying. Consider according to your necessity.
Overall its the best tablet available in market.

Had to make another Apple Store visit yesterday, due to problem number "I lost count" with the terrible butterfly keyboard Apple dares to call "design innovation". This time the broken keys didn't get replaced. Instead I was given the option to spend another $599 on the 3rd top deck replacement in 4 years... Complete waste of time, also given the 2 hours it took to get there and back... Would not recommend this store. And my love for Apple products is also rapidly fading.

The 12 pro max is buggy as hell then my 4k Apple Tv gets bricked on the last update and this in the second one to do it. The first one was a gen 2 apple tv. Stay away this xmas from their crap. Worst tech/customer service. Even their so called apple genius called the apple tv junk. Offered $30 bucks off a new one yeah no thanks, not when don't last more than a 1 year warranty.

My iPhone SE never glitched until now, all of a sudden it will make static sounds once in a while, like my button will click not vibrate or if I'm watching a video, the audio glitches out. Nice design as always however I feel like they do this on purpose when they introduce a new model. I also think it's best if they could make their phones a little bit thicker seem it's easy to shatter.

The way this company works and they are not the only ones who do it is out right scam worthy. Looking for a new iPhone and find a new phone for $599. First it's unlocked for any carrier and already have a monthly plan with a carrier. So wanted to pay in full didn't get any add on crap so you expect to pay &599. But no they com up with a total of almost $690 what a piece of crap company. My own SIM card my same number and they don't have to set up. When you list a price that should be the same as the listed price. You are plan scum
