Anita is a great matchmaker because she is extremely attentive, reads written feedback carefully, listens closely, and definitely incorporates feedback as she works with me on dates. I could not ask for someone more committed to figuring me out and finding me the best matches she possibly can, and she's already found me a great one! I appreciate her expertise!

I have been dealing with It's Just Lunch since June 2020, signing up with a 12 date or 12 month (which ever comes last) deal. Well it has been 3 1/2 years and I still haven't got the 12 dates. There are plenty of singles out there yet this company can't seem to find just 12 between the ages of 58-68 in 3 years. When they do find a so called match, it's typically outside the age group in my profile. They use zero psychology in making matches.

My initial experience was not good. My first matchmaker was not responsive and did not have a good handle on the type of man I was looking for. I suspended my contract for a period of time and then decided to try again. My experience with my present matchmaker, Jaiye, has been very good. He is responsive to my calls and texts and knows the type of man I am looking for and it shows in his selection of dates.

Dating today can be challenging, especially for mature daters. I selected IJL because I wanted a more selective experience over swiping. Working with Tanya has been a pleasure. She is getting to know me and with each date, through feedback and conversation, she is fine tuning my dating experience. I appreciate that and know we are on the right track!

So far so good! My first date was a great experience considering this is my first time using a Matchmaking service. Anita is very personable and really listens to your likes and dislikes to select the best match. I'm really glad you have the option to provide feedback after your date and discuss how you can better refine your next match. I would recommend IJL to my friends and family, looking to date without having to swipe all day for matches. Wish me luck on date #2!

He was nice but the vibe was a little off. I didn't like the way he dressed. He a little too old fashioned for me. And didn't talk about his personal life.

Thoroughly enjoyed dates with Mary and Diane,
Both were personable engaging and both dates were attractive well grommed and well dressed.
Both had advanced degrees and are very intelligent which made for excellent wide ranging conversations Diane and I had many shared interests and I think this relationship will go further
Went to a Christmas party with Mary the next day. Shes out of town for a while but will probably see her again. Diane and I exchanged contact info and I have already called her about our next date.

Thanks to Carissa, I just had a great date! She was so very patient as I described my ideal person and she found him! He actually called me the very next day and we have plans for a second.

I am satisfied with my experience thus far. My matchmaker,Tanya, has been responsive and encouraging. The quality of my matches with IJL has steadily improved. Tanya listens to and respects my preferences, addresses any concerns I have and navigates to the best outcome for me. Her coaching after a match has been made is VERY useful. I'm confident that I won't need all of the matches I signed up for. ;)

Carla is unequivocally the greatest matchmaker IJL has to offer. She has been so sweet, kind and patient in working with me and truly "gets" my wants, desires, dreams and needs and is matching me up with some amazing people, though it takes time to really cultivate an understanding of personality--and now, after a few "less-than-desirable" matches, she is NAILING IT!

Needless to say-Carla is a genuine pleasure to work with and I'm excited to continue talking/working with her, even if I don't ever match up with my soulmate!

The service is very pleasant so far. I am very pleased with the service. From the introduction to setting up the dates. Everything was professionally handled, especially for a busy professional like myself.

Anita is absolutely amazing! She has been very supportive and insightful on the dating process from the moment I meet with her. I have truly appreciated her hard work, patience but most of all she has a unique insight on dating and relationships.

I was so hopeful that I could find someone through a service that vetted men, but that was the only thing that was helpful. My dates were all at halfway points which were as far as I was willing to go to date someone. Most lived 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. I am a city girl and only one man even liked going into the city and even then he was gone every 2 weeks. I cannot believe there was not one man in the city I could meet. Most dates were only once a month. I wish I just would have saved my money since I really did not have that much. Still paying till January and no dates at all since one in September. Sadly I was hopeful at my age and nothing worked out at all. Sorry that I had to write this as I really liked my counselors. Not their fault if there us no one for me. Back to the bars!

Just had my first date with a match sent to me by Jaiye. I had a pleasant experience and had a lot in common with my match. I am excited about what the future may hold and look forward to other positive experiences with my match and any future matches Jaiye might send my way. I definitely feel like things are off to a good start!

I'm new to IJL and have gone on one date so far. I was very disappointed with the person I was matched with. I am not sure what criteria is being used for matching, since they don't ask too many questions and don't ask some key ones that I think are important for a successful match. I wonder if there are a good sample of potential matches to select from since my next match is at the top of my age range. While I'm happy to not have to be on dating sites and weeding through fake profiles and sleazy come ons, I'm not sure this service is worth the expense. The people at IJL that I've talked to have been great, but so far I'm wondering if I just wasted a ton of money and am wishing they had a better refund policy.

I signed up for It's Just Lunch because they were to find someone who would be a good match for me. Because I am retired and approaching 60 I wanted to be sure that it was not just a service for young professionals looking for their person to marry. I was assured that IJL had a large pool of men in my age range with similar interests Unfortunately, that was a lie given by the sales person. I had three dates, and the only thing I had in common with those men was that they were +/- 10 year in age from me. I was very clear and saying that I was searching for someone who was retired or could work from the road because I travel extensively for leisure. Instead, I was introduced to gentleman who thought that travel was a weekend or weeklong road trip, and none of them had the ability to do more than one week of travel a year. As I talked with my representatives, it became clear that they did not have information about their clients, but just tried to set someone up if they were in the correct age range. I was extremely displeased with their service.

Anita found a wonderful match for my first date. We shared stories, talked a lot spent almost two hours for lunch and laughed a lot. The laughter was great. Since we live at quite a distance from each other we decided to not pursue a second date, but we did exchange phone number. Anita is now looking for match #2.
