WHERE are people getting these "bargain" rates? I was quoted $70k, after a $10k retainer, for basically 1 intro/month for a year & no fall back or assurance that you will EVER meet any kind of match. When I inquired about that, the answer was I could sign up for more?! Insanity.

This is my second round with Tawkify. The first time around I had a really strong communicator matchmaker. I felt like she really wanted to help me and was great with check-ins. Nothing came out of all the dates I went on though. A few years later I figured I'd give it another shot and realizing that this service isn't for me. Some things to be aware of: 1) Your matchmaker WILL NOT BE LOCATED IN YOUR CITY OR STATE- this means they'll pick date locations that feel far and inconvenient 2) Because they don't live anyway near you, they don't really have a sense of what dating is like in YOUR area. 3) After that first video chat, you'll never actually see your matchmaker again. You can request a phone call after a date, but otherwise expect just to be texting to a generic number to communicate. 4) There's no real sense of personalization. Expect messages like- we found a date for you- here's their basic info- they like dogs, fresh air and eating food- you guys will be perfect. No explanation of why they picked this person for you. I think we can probably do better in terms of matchmaking services, but this ones fine.
It's been easy, but I wasn't asked many questions about myself, so not sure how I'll be matched with someone else.

DECEPTIVE business practices and VERY expensive…they do a great sales job but HORRIBLE service. Totally amateur and dishonest. Don't buy their hype. Total scam

I ended up achieving my goal of finding my life partner which is amazing, of course. It's important to me to note that the process of that was very enriching. With regular online dating, I never get feedback about how I'm showing up on a date. With Tawkify, one of the most helpful things was getting the feedback from the date via my matchmaker. There was something I was doing on my first dates which were a turn off for my potential matches and I had no idea I was doing it. Becoming aware of it and then being able to work with my matchmaker on shifting that made a huge difference in how I was showing up and presenting myself more authentically. Even before I met my partner, I already felt like it was worth it just for this helpful process.
Three reasons. First, online dating was time consuming and I liked the idea of my matchmaker going on the first date for me. Second, I'm in the healthcare industry and I was nervous about my online dating profile showing up on one of my patient's dashboards. Yikes. I really liked the privacy aspect of Tawkify. And third, I didn't always trust my ability to choose the right person so I outsourced my intuition to my matchmaker until I started feeling more trusting of the process.

I think 5 qualities to choose for someone is too small. Would love to see how many people are using this app in one area before purchasing membership. I hope for the best.
Not a lot of serious daters on other apps. I’m tired of thinking things are going to go somewhere and then after a couple of months they don’t. I need someone that is ready.

Seems like it might be an alternative to other dating apps…which are dehumanizing and don’t seem to result in good matches.
I am at the beginning of the process. It's going well so far. I have had great conversations with my coach and my 2nd matchmaker. I was not happy with the first matchmaker, we just didn't click. I let the concierge know and they connected me with a new matchmaker that was a better fit. We'll see how it goes from here.

Easy sign up and I like that it is affordable but not so inexpensive to help assure potential matches are as serious about dating!
I would like a more inward approach to dating rather than the app/catalog method that can focus on outward appearances only.
