23 year old fashion enthusiast
I create fashion and beauty content for my YouTube channel 'Yasmin Bright' for which I regularly purchase products from various brands to show and review in video form.
Discovering new fashion and beauty brands
I love clinique makeup, especially the Even-Better concealer. I bought this recently and it is now my go-to concealer. Great shade range, great quality makeup. Normal price point - around £20, which is expected. But so worth it.
I always go back to buy the L'oreal telescopic mascara. It's the best drugstore mascara I've tried and it's very inexpensive.
I love how L'oreal is accessible through all major pharmacies and makeup stores - so both home delivery and in store options are always easy.
I bought an ear cuff from Gorjana - here's a summary of my experience:
- cute jewellery
- good quality
- pricey pieces
- expensive taxes and delivery

I have bought some beautitful, on trend pieces from Zara home. So aesthetically pleasing. Great vases and decor pieces. However, sometimes the quality doesn't reflect the price. I had to return a rug I bought as it was fraying within a few days, even though it was a pricey rug. Easy to purchase online or in store. Easy delivery and returns options.
I have seen a lot of YouTubers using this device - so I had to try it.
I love using it in my skincare routine, it really works to exfoliate and my skin feels great afterwards. I love how it's compact and looks cute to display.
Easy to buy from big makeup online stores such as Look Fantastic, so shipping is quick and easy.
Here are my honest thoughts on Beginning Boutique...
In this video I show + talk about my recent purchase and tell you my experience shopping at Beginning Boutique.
My favourite shop for all things cosy. I buy a lot of pyjama sets from here. I recently bought a 'recycled plastic' scarf for £6 and it is honestly one of my favourite winter purchases. Great quality, looks expensive and so warm. I just wish Primark had a website! Some stores are better than others so it can be hit and miss.
There's always nice furniture and homeware at Next - especially living room decor like cushions and rugs. They are fairly pricey compared to other stores. Definitely more suited to a more mature taste and less trendy pieces. Easy to find neutral, classic decor. Easy to shop online or in-store. Quick delivery within UK.
I love shopping on Wayfair for my furniture! The pieces are always so tasteful and I always find pieces that look more expensive than they are. I bought a large rug for £150, with other similar rugs being £400 + from elsewhere. Really quick delivery in the UK, usually within 5 days. Lots of selection to choose from.
I bought a lot of christmas decor from John Lewis which I'm very happy with - great quality and tasteful pieces.
Great place to find a variety of products, from clothing to perfume and makeup. I can buy my essential makeup products easily from John Lewis and also shop around for new perfumes. They really do stock it all in terms of beauty.
It's always easy to shop in-store and online. Quick shipping within the UK.
I recently purchased my Christmas tree along with the decorations from The Range. It's a really fun shop to visit, with lots of Christmas ornaments and decor. Lots of selection and different price ranges. The tree I bought was good for the price, a bit sparser than I was hoping but it was an affordable tree. There are pricier options. Some of the baubles I bought shattered on the way home which was disappointing as I'm used to shatterproof baubles as a standard. Perhaps not the best quality ornaments.
I use TGTG fairly frequently after a day of work. It lets you collect 'left over' food from restaurants at a super low price, that would otherwise be thrown out. Great way to reduce waste whilst also saving a lot of money. I usually go to Yo Sushi, where they'll have boxes of sushi available for a quarter of the price.
Great app.
Although I've never ordered from George online, I regularly visit the George section in my local ASDA and I was blown away by the selection of trendy brands. It's really changed from when I was younger. They supply online brands like Missguided which makes it easy to try clothing on in person that you otherwise would have to buy online first. Super convenient in-store returns too.
I look forward to seeing how much more they expand.
Disney+ has such a great mixture of shows - from nostalgic childhood films to new TV series, I never get bored of the service.
At 7.99 for the subscription, it's pretty standard pricing. The website / app itself is super smooth and easy to navigate. Great for smart TVs.
Would recommend.
I bought a popular bracelet from Bohomoon - to sum up my experience:
- Fast delivery
- You have to pay for shipping
- Affordable dupes for high end jewellery

Although I haven't used a vast range of Barry M products, their lip liner in 'toast' is my go-to. It is the perfect brown, nude colour and lasts a long time on the lips. I don't know why it isn't more popular. Very comparable to more expensive Mac products but it's 1/5 of the price at 2.99.
Their nail varnish is also great, I use the gel polishes and they have a great range of colours! I always buy this brand from Superdrug, so it's easily available in the UK.
I am a huge fan of Zara clothing. Their stuff is always so chic and on-trend, at a reasonable price. I particularly like their A/W range - their coats look super expensive.
One downside to the brand is their website. It is super complicated to navigate and the images do not clearly display the clothes.
Although Starbucks isn't my go-to place for coffee (I find the coffee sour, and doesn't compare to other coffee chains), I do love the aesthetic of the brand. I bought a tumbler from one of their shops and I use it daily! It's great quality, looks cute and makes me drink more water.
It was quite pricey at around $25 AUD. But I would definitely re-buy it.
I use Netflix daily. No exaggeration.
I love that Netflix has its own original series; these always turn out to be some of my favourite shows.
You have access to a lot of worldwide content on this platform too, which is always interesting!
It's great for on the go, as you can access the app on your phone + tablet, but it's also great at home on the smart tv.
I like that you can share your account with others with separate profiles. I pay £5.99 per month for the basic plan - I hope this doesn't increase again!
